Hi, I’m Ivelina — a trilingual psychologist in Valencia, offering therapy and counseling for expats, international students, creatives, and sensitive souls.
I help people who live between cultures, languages, and identities find emotional grounding and inner space. As an English-speaking therapist, I work with many expats and international students who prefer therapy in English. I also provide counseling in Bulgarian (my native language) and Spanish. I work with clients in the language that feels most natural to them.
My approach combines evidence-based therapy (such as CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed techniques) with mindfulness, body awareness, and integrative tools — always offered with warmth, creativity, and non-judgment.
Originally from Bulgaria and trained in Spain, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new culture, navigating language barriers, and finding a sense of belonging abroad. Having rebuilt myself across countries and roles, I bring that lived experience into every session.
